Anti-RT7 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RT7 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ODF1 gene, which encodes outer dense fiber of sperm tails 1. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and spermatogenesis, among other biological roles. The human version of RT7 has a canonical amino acid length of 250 residues and a protein mass of 28.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be notably expressed in the testis. Other names for this target antigen include CT133, HSPB10, and ODF. Indicated applications for RT7 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
