Anti-THP2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target THP2 is a known alias name of the protein GLI family zinc finger 2, encoded by the GLI2 gene in humans. This 1586-amino acid residue protein is known to function as transcription regulator in the hedgehog (Hh) pathway. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in breast cancers. Other synonyms for THP2 include CJS, HPE9, and PHS2. Western Blot is the most common application for the THP2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
