Anti-SAP45 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SAP45 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SUDS3 gene, which encodes SDS3 homolog, SIN3A corepressor complex component. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and chromatin remodeling, among other biological roles. The human version of SAP45 has a canonical amino acid length of 328 residues and a protein mass of 38.1 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. SAP45 is a member of the SDS3 protein family.
