Anti-TFECL antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The TFECL antigen is another term for the human protein transcription factor EC, encoded by the TFEC gene. The protein is a reported transcriptional regulator that acts as a repressor or an activator. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 347 residues and a mass of 38.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is noted to be expressed moderately in spleen, kidney, bone marrow, small intestine and leukocytes. The TFECL protein is a member of the MiT/TFE protein family. Other alias names for TFECL include TCFEC. Indicated applications for TFECL antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
