Anti-SRP4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SRP4 is a known alias name of the protein karyopherin subunit alpha 3, encoded by the KPNA3 gene in humans. This 521-amino acid residue protein is reported to function in nuclear protein import as an adapter protein for nuclear receptor KPNB1. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for SRP4 include IPOA4, IPOA4, and SPG88.
