Anti-SFMBT antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The SFMBT antigen is another term for the human protein Scm like with four mbt domains 1, encoded by the SFMBT1 gene. The protein is reported to be a histone-binding protein, which is part of various corepressor complexes. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 866 residues and a mass of 98.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is reported to be expressed in all cell lines and normal tissues tested, including the thymus. Other alias names for SFMBT include RU1 and RU1. Indicated applications for SFMBT antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
