Anti-Syb1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Syb1 antigen is another term for the human protein vesicle associated membrane protein 1, encoded by the VAMP1 gene. The protein is reported to be involved in targeting and/or fusion of transport vesicles to their target membrane. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 118 residues and a mass of 12.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles and mitochondria and it is expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and cerebral cortex. The Syb1 protein is a member of the Synaptobrevin protein family. Other alias names for Syb1 include CMS25, SAX1, and SPAX1. Indicated applications for Syb1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
