Anti-SSDP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SSDP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SSBP3 gene, which encodes single stranded DNA binding protein 3. This protein is known to function in hematopoietic progenitor cell differentiation and the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of SSDP has a canonical amino acid length of 388 residues and a protein mass of 40.4 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. Other names for this target antigen include CSDP and CSDP.
