Anti-SLP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SLP1 is a known alias name of the protein SUN domain containing ossification factor, encoded by the SUCO gene in humans. This 1254-amino acid residue protein is known to be required for bone modeling during late embryogenesis. It is localized to the ER of the cell and features O-glycosylated and N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the pancreas and testis and to a lower extent in prostate, ovary, heart, thymus, small intestine and spleen. Western Blot is a widely used application for the SLP1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
