Anti-Shn3 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Shn3 antigen is another term for the human protein HIVEP zinc finger 3, encoded by the HIVEP3 gene. The protein is reported to play a role in of transcription factor; binds to recognition signal sequences (Rss heptamer) for somatic recombination of immunoglobulin and T-cell receptor gene segments; Binds also to the kappa-B motif of gene such as S100A4, involved in cell progression and differentiation. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 2406 residues and a mass of 259.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. Indicated applications for Shn3 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
