Anti-QPP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the QPP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DPP7 gene, which encodes dipeptidyl peptidase 7. This protein is known to function in proteolysis, among other biological roles. The human version of QPP has a canonical amino acid length of 492 residues and a protein mass of 54.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the lysosomes, cytoplasmic vesicles, and is secreted of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include DPP2 and DPPII. Indicated applications for QPP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
