Anti-PP68 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PP68 is a known alias name of the protein synaptotagmin binding cytoplasmic RNA interacting protein, encoded by the SYNCRIP gene in humans. This 623-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in RNA splicing and osteoblast differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for PP68 include GRY-RBP, GRYRBP, and HNRNPQ. Western Blot is the most common application for the PP68 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
