Anti-POMP100 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the POMP100 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SFPQ gene, which encodes splicing factor proline and glutamine rich. This protein is known to function in chromatin remodeling and DNA repair, among other biological roles. The human version of POMP100 has a canonical amino acid length of 707 residues and a protein mass of 76.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
