Anti-MYX antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MYX antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MXD3 gene, which encodes MAX dimerization protein 3. This protein is known to function in the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of MYX has a canonical amino acid length of 206 residues and a protein mass of 23.5 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. Indicated applications for MYX antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
