Anti-RHDel antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The RHDel antigen is another term for the human protein Rh blood group D antigen, encoded by the RHD gene. The protein is believed to be part of an oligomeric complex which is likely to have a transport or channel function in the erythrocyte membrane. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 417 residues and a mass of 45.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is expressed in the bone marrow. The RHDel protein is a member of the Ammonium transporter (TC 2.A.49) protein family. Other alias names for RHDel include CD240D, CD240D, and DIIIc.
