Anti-PRPF43 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PRPF43 is a known alias name of the protein DEAH-box helicase 15, encoded by the DHX15 gene in humans. This 795-amino acid residue protein is known to be a RNA helicase involved in mRNA processing and antiviral innate immunity. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for PRPF43 include DBP1, DDX15, and PRP43.
