Anti-PROXY1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PROXY1 is a known alias name of the protein N-myc downstream regulated 1, encoded by the NDRG1 gene in humans. This 394-amino acid residue protein is known to be a stress-responsive protein involved in hormone responses, cell growth, and differentiation. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for PROXY1 include CAP43, CAP43, and CMT4D. Western Blot is the most common application for the PROXY1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
