Anti-REC2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the REC2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RAD51B gene, which encodes RAD51 paralog B. This protein is known to function in DNA repair and the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of REC2 has a canonical amino acid length of 384 residues and a protein mass of 42.2 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include R51H2 and RAD51L1. Indicated applications for REC2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
