Anti-RCD1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RCD1 is a known alias name of the protein CCR4-NOT transcription complex subunit 9, encoded by the CNOT9 gene in humans. This 299-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the CCR4-NOT complex which is one of the major cellular mRNA deadenylases and is linked to various cellular processes including bulk mRNA degradation, miRNA-mediated repression, translational repression during translational initiation and general transcription regulation. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in spleen, thymus, prostate, testis, ovary and intestine. Indicated applications for RCD1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunoprecipitation.
