Anti-Proteasome 26S subunit, ATPase 5 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PSMC5 in humans. The gene may also be known as (S8), SUG1, SUG-1, TBP10, 26S proteasome regulatory subunit 8, and 26S protease regulatory subunit 8. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 45.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
