Anti-Lim3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Lim3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the LHX3 gene, which encodes LIM homeobox 3. This protein is known to function in organ morphogenesis and the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of Lim3 has a canonical amino acid length of 397 residues and a protein mass of 43.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. Other names for this target antigen include CPHD3 and M2-LHX3.
