Anti-LAP70 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LAP70 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ENTPD4 gene, which encodes ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 4. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of LAP70 has a canonical amino acid length of 616 residues and a protein mass of 70.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi, lysosomes, and cytoplasmic vesicles of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include LALP70 and LYSAL1.
