Anti-NAT16 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein N-acetyltransferase 16 (putative). In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 369 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.5 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. NAT16 is a suspected N-acetyltransferase. Synonyms for this target antigen include N-acetyltransferase 16 (GCN5-related, putative), putative N-acetyltransferase 16, putative N-acetyltransferase C7orf52, and probable N-acetyltransferase 16. NAT16 gene orthologs have been reported in the bovine, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. These NAT16 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
