Anti-RhoGDI2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RhoGDI2 is a known alias name of the protein Rho GDP dissociation inhibitor beta, encoded by the ARHGDIB gene in humans. This 201-amino acid residue protein is reported to regulate the GDP/GTP exchange reaction of the Rho proteins by inhibiting the dissociation of GDP from them, and the subsequent binding of GTP to them. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in bone marrow, thymus and spleen. Other synonyms for RhoGDI2 include D4, GDIA2, and GDID4.
