Anti-Rd1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Rd1 is a known alias name of the protein phosphodiesterase 6B, encoded by the PDE6B gene in humans. This 854-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in eye development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in the retina. Other synonyms for Rd1 include CSNB3, CSNBAD2, and GMP-PDEbeta.
