Anti-RALDH3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RALDH3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ALDH1A3 gene, which encodes aldehyde dehydrogenase 1 family member A3. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of RALDH3 has a canonical amino acid length of 512 residues and a protein mass of 56.1 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the prostate and testis. Other names for this target antigen include ALDH1A6, ALDH6, and MCOP8. Indicated applications for RALDH3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
