Anti-PEX antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PEX is a known alias name of the protein phosphate regulating endopeptidase X-linked, encoded by the PHEX gene in humans. This 749-amino acid residue protein is a reported peptidase that cleaves SIBLING (small integrin-binding ligand, N-linked glycoprotein)-derived ASARM peptides, thus regulating their biological activity. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in ovary. Other synonyms for PEX include HPDR, HPDR1, and HYP. Indicated applications for PEX antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
