Anti-Panky antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Panky antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ANKRD33 gene, which encodes ankyrin repeat domain 33. This protein is known to function in skeletal muscle cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of Panky has a canonical amino acid length of 452 residues and a protein mass of 49.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the retina. Indicated applications for Panky antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
