Anti-RIFF antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RIFF is a known alias name of the protein ring finger protein 34, encoded by the RNF34 gene in humans. This 372-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the apoptotic pathway, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated and cleaved post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Indicated applications for RIFF antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
