Anti-PTR4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PTR4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC15A4 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 15 member 4. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses and the transport of ions, among other biological roles. The human version of PTR4 has a canonical amino acid length of 577 residues and a protein mass of 62 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the lysosomes of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. PTR4 is a member of the Proton-dependent oligopeptide transporter (POT/PTR) (TC 2.A.17) protein family. Indicated applications for PTR4 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
