Anti-PGL1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PGL1 is a known alias name of the protein succinate dehydrogenase complex subunit D, encoded by the SDHD gene in humans. This 159-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a membrane-anchoring subunit of succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) that is involved in complex II of the mitochondrial electron transport chain and is responsible for transferring electrons from succinate to ubiquinone (coenzyme Q). It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for PGL1 include CBT1, CBT1, and CII-4. Indicated applications for PGL1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
