Anti-pcaD antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target pcaD is a known alias name of the protein cadherin 3, encoded by the CDH3 gene in humans. This 829-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in some normal epithelial tissues and in some carcinoma cell lines. Other synonyms for pcaD include CDHP and HJMD. Indicated applications for pcaD antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
