Anti-PAST3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PAST3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the EHD3 gene, which encodes EH domain containing 3. This protein is known to function in cilium assembly and endocytosis, among other biological roles. The human version of PAST3 has a canonical amino acid length of 535 residues and a protein mass of 60.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the colon and kidney. PAST3 is a member of the Dynamin/Fzo/YdjA protein family.
