Anti-PTR antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PTR antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PTCHD3 gene, which encodes patched domain containing 3 (gene/pseudogene). This protein is believed to play a role in sperm development or sperm function. The human version of PTR has a canonical amino acid length of 954 residues and a protein mass of 107.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell projections and ER of cells. PTR is a member of the Patched protein family. Indicated applications for PTR antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
