Anti-PTPN10 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PTPN10 is a known alias name of the protein dual specificity phosphatase 1, encoded by the DUSP1 gene in humans. This 367-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the cell cycle and the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed at high levels in the lung, liver placenta and pancreas. Other synonyms for PTPN10 include CL100, HVH1, and MKP-1.
