Anti-PPT-C antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PPT-C is a known alias name of the protein tachykinin precursor 4, encoded by the TAC4 gene in humans. This 113-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in inflammatory response pathways and the regulation of intracellular calcium, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed at low levels in the uterus of both pregnant and non-pregnant women. Indicated applications for PPT-C antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
