Pldc, or Phospholipase D family member 5, is a human gene encoded by PLD5. It may also be known as: Inactive phospholipase D5; Inactive PLD 5; Inactive choline phosphatase 5; Inactive phosphatidylcholine-hydrolyzing phospholipase D5; PLDc; phospholipase D family, member 5. The encoded protein has an amino acid length of 536 and a mass of 61.3 kDa. Other isoforms may exist. Pldc is a member of the Phospholipase D family. Homologs of this gene exist in other organisms, including: Mouse, Rat, Chicken.
