Anti-PLA2P antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PLA2P is a known alias name of the protein phospholipase A2 activating protein, encoded by the PLAA gene in humans. This 795-amino acid residue protein is reported to play a role in protein ubiquitination, sorting and degradation through its association with VCP. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for PLA2P include DOA1 and NDMSBA. Indicated applications for PLA2P antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
