Anti-HCK1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HCK1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the KCNA5 gene, which encodes potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily A member 5. This protein is known to function in the Notch signaling pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of HCK1 has a canonical amino acid length of 613 residues and a protein mass of 67.2 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus, stomach, and appendix. Other names for this target antigen include ATFB7 and ATFB7. Western Blot is the most common application for the HCK1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
