Anti-P24b antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the P24b antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TMED3 gene, which encodes transmembrane p24 trafficking protein 3. This protein is known to function in Golgi transport and Golgi organization, among other biological roles. The human version of P24b has a canonical amino acid length of 217 residues and a protein mass of 24.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER, Golgi, and cytoplasmic vesicles of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include C15orf22 and p24g4. Indicated applications for P24b antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
