Anti-PP2Cm antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PP2Cm antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PPM1K gene, which encodes protein phosphatase, Mg2+/Mn2+ dependent 1K. This protein is reported to regulate the mitochondrial permeability transition pore and is essential for cellular survival and development. The human version of PP2Cm has a canonical amino acid length of 372 residues and a protein mass of 41 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. PP2Cm is a member of the PP2C protein family. Indicated applications for PP2Cm antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
