Anti-RASI-1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RASI-1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MMP19 gene, which encodes matrix metallopeptidase 19. This protein is known to function in angiogenesis and cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of RASI-1 has a canonical amino acid length of 508 residues and a protein mass of 57.4 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the extracellular matrix and is secreted of cells. Other names for this target antigen include CODA, MMP18, and RASI-1. Western Blot is the most common application for the RASI-1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
