Anti-RAR2A antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RAR2A is a known alias name of the protein RAB40A, member RAS oncogene family, encoded by the RAB40A gene in humans. This 277-amino acid residue protein is believed to be a substrate-recognition component of a SCF-like ECS (Elongin-Cullin-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. Indicated applications for RAR2A antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
