Anti-PHP14 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PHP14 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PHPT1 gene, which encodes phosphohistidine phosphatase 1. This protein is known to function in protein dephosphorylation and cytoskeleton organization, among other biological roles. The human version of PHP14 has a canonical amino acid length of 125 residues and a protein mass of 13.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CGI-202, HEL-S-132P, and HSPC141. Western Blot is the most common application for the PHP14 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
