Anti-PED2A4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PED2A4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PDE2A gene, which encodes phosphodiesterase 2A. The human version of PED2A4 has a canonical amino acid length of 941 residues and a protein mass of 105.7 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the hippocampus, colon, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and adrenal gland. Other names for this target antigen include CGS-PDE, IDDPADS, and PDE2A1. Western Blot is the most common application for the PED2A4 antibodies listed below. Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
