Anti-POLRA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target POLRA is a known alias name of the protein RNA polymerase II subunit A, encoded by the POLR2A gene in humans. This 1970-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in transcription by RNA polymerase II, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features methylated, ubiquitinated, acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for POLRA include NEDHIB and POLR2. Western Blot is the most common application for the POLRA antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
