Anti-MGST antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MGST antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MGST1 gene, which encodes microsomal glutathione S-transferase 1. The human version of MGST has a canonical amino acid length of 155 residues and a protein mass of 17.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria and ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as GST12. Indicated applications for MGST antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
