Anti-PERRS antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PERRS antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RGS9 gene, which encodes regulator of G protein signaling 9. This protein is known to function in GPCR signaling pathways and intracellular signal transduction, among other biological roles. The human version of PERRS has a canonical amino acid length of 674 residues and a protein mass of 77 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and notably expressed in the rectum and retina. Indicated applications for PERRS antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
