Anti-NEM4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NEM4 is a known alias name of the protein tropomyosin 2, encoded by the TPM2 gene in humans. This 284-amino acid residue protein is known to bind to actin filaments in muscle and non-muscle cells. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for NEM4 include AMCD1, DA1, and DA2B. Western Blot is the most common application for the NEM4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
