Anti-MNK antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MNK antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ATP7A gene, which encodes ATPase copper transporting alpha. This protein is known to function in blood vessel development and cartilage development, among other biological roles. The human version of MNK has a canonical amino acid length of 1500 residues and a protein mass of 163.4 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and cell membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include DSMAX and MK. Indicated applications for MNK antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
